Penrith City Council and Blacktown City Council present ‘Big Green Day Out’ on Saturday, November 6 from 10am at Mt Druitt Park.Entry to the event is free and the day is a celebration of everything green. The special guest host will be Ranger Stacey from Channel 10’s hit show ‘Totally Wild’.
There will also be a traditional Indigenous Smoking Ceremony and dancers, plenty of live music, a silent disco as well as Eco Art & Craft stalls, not to mention Green Cleaning Workshops.
Featherdale Wildlife Park will also be there with live animal displays plus Australian Wildlife displays with Anthony Stimson.
As for freebies, there’ll be plenty of those including airbrush tattoos and face painting, a native plant giveaway and a free sausage sizzle for the first 1,000 people as well as a raffle with great prizes to be won.
